Hey! Howdy! Hey!

It's Saturday night and the rain is falling again. The streets are a crud covered, dog waste encrusted melting mass of garbage strewn snow drifts. Grey/brown rivers of icy slop carrying bits of debris and things too hard to identify flow past every street corner making the journey anywhere a perilous voyage. My spirits are soggy and the light is failing and there doesn't seem to be anything to take my mind off this "end of days" atmosphere. A shave, shower and spiffy new shirt you'd think would do the trick, but not really. Instead, I decide to watch Toy Story 3 having not ever watched the first two. Woody, Buzz, Jesse and my truest love, Bullseye have brought the light back to my eyes. Their pathos and joy expressed with every uttered word is infectious. They remind me of my childhood and my favorite cowboy toys Johnny West, Geronimo, Thunderbolt (my first horse), Jane, Flame and the Circle X Ranch which my twin sister Donna and I spent years playing with. I was transported back to a time where pleasure and wonder were the order of the day. Their adventures were so much fun I decided to watch the first and second films as well. So today was given up to Toy stories. I even climbed onto Amazon and roped all the characters to add to my weird collection of things that inspire and entertain me. I can't wait to listen to Jesse's crazy twang (Joan Cussack who does her voice cracks me up) and Bullseye's sweet face, mane and tail just pushes all my buttons. I'm a complete softy under all this hairless hissing. You guys who haven't seen these movies are really missing out. Tangled, which I watched in bed in Vienna is another fantastic romp. If Bullseye goes to the Oscars I would love to have the honor of braiding his mane and tail. Jesse, Woody, Buzz and the Aliens don't need duds. Their outfits are perfection. To infinity and beyond!

If Bullseye went to the Oscars I am sure that he would look much better than half of the two legged kind there.

I never saw part 3 but now I am into it. I own every toy of toy story part 1 and 2. Happiness lives in those toys.
Bright colors, a smile on every one of them. Thank you for reminding me.

Boy, was that pink strawberry smelling bear mean or what ? That script was so good, tasteful and respectful of the children watching the movie. I loved it. I cried like a baby at the end. Yes kids go to college and brake their mother's heart ! Lucky for us you are here. !
