Wow, great interview. I can totally relate. I have been a decorative Artist for 25yrs. in Carmel Ca. all my clients have been high like yours with several homes. The projects are gone and I have been working very hard to not only keep my head above water, but like you my identity has struggled.

Hi! I just discovered you TODAY listening to The Story this am in Chicago.
I used to live in New York, went to Parsons, design various product which keeps me flexible, & teaching fashion design out here and wondering why...when there's little industry in this town. (And yet over four fashion design programs here within a two mile radius filled to the rim with desperate wannabes!)
Anyway, LOVED your interview and am now a follower! Thanks.

I meant to catch up with you after the panel the other day to say how nice it was to meet you. Among other things, I was intending to ask you about this interview - I'm a huge fan of The Story and iI think it's great that you got a chance to do it.
My girlfriend and I listened to the whole thing last night - it came out really well! Really shows what an interesting life you've lived so far, and it was fun to listen after just having met you in person.
Keep up the great work, evolution, etc. and keep in touch!

I work at a college radio station as a network tech. and as I was getting the segment ready to air, I was listening to your interview with Mr. Gordon. I thought it was funny and just generally fun.
(I realize its a little out of date, but its still awesome.)
